PrecisionTool Line Deepwater Sliding Spider

The PrecisionTool™ Line spider is a hydraulically actuated sliding spider that exposes a 21-in diameter opening when slid back. This design facilitates running large diameter completion components to prevent damage to control lines and umbilicals. Included in the Precision Line Spider is an integral hydraulic arm to guide and position control lines and umbilicals for safe operation, accurate umbilical guidance and rapid positioning.

The patented Bilco PrecisionSlip™ design compensates for misalignment between the tubing string and the slips as well as compensating for tubing string motion. The patented design provides even load distribution over the length of the slips to eliminate slip damage and marking to the tubing or casing.
