Triple Tools Patented

Bilco has taken the design of our Dual Tools one step further and adapted them to applications requiring the use of three strings. Bilco’s new Triple Handling Tools are designed to handle two pipe strings up to 2 ⁷/₈" in diameter, and one pipe string up to 2 ³/₈" in diameter, on 6 ¹/₂" centers.

A special feature of this tool is the hydraulically retracting slip bowls. In only 5 seconds, the slip bowls can be retracted to allow tool diameters of up to 8 ¹/₂" to quickly pass through the spider.

The spider and elevator slips are air operated from a console similar to that of Bilco’s Dual Tools.
