"Precision Slips and Elevators" is Bilco's latest slip design for use where pipe damage by slips or elevators is unacceptable.

By distributing the pipe load equally between each of the die teeth, only a minimum amount of die tooth penetration is needed to grip heavy pipe strings. The pipe surface penetration by a single die tooth is usually less than .005 inch.

The fundamental concept of "Precision Slips and Elevators" is that each die tooth of each slip body will contact the pipe with equal force every time. This method will prevent pipe damage.
