"Pressure Signature Tracer" (Patented) is a system engineered by Bilco to recognize primary seal failure, and expands pipe testing, giving it new purpose.

When any connection is pressure tested with water or gas, a leaking primary seal may not show a drop in testing pressure due to a temporary seal created by pipe dope. This condition would allow a leak to be missed with standard testing methods. When this occurs, a pressure wave is experienced between the leaking primary seal and the temporary pipe dope seal. This creates abnormal stress in the connection box. It is this stress that the"P.S.T." tool measures and plots out on the computer along with the pressure curve.

"P.S.T." is the only definitive test to verify the integrity of the primary seal.
