Dual Pressure Signature Tracer Patented - Domestic & Foreign

Bilco Tools Inc.’s new and improved leak detecting tool for coupled connections offers an accurate and inexpensive means of quickly identifying a leaking thread. Each half of a threaded coupling can now be tested independently and simultaneously.

All thread leaks start with a failure of the primary seal. For a leak to then progress through threads and thread dope, it may take minutes or hours. PST can detect primary seal failure within seconds. Using a new and improved sensor design, PST Sensors detect changes in connection geometry when test pressure is applied to the connection. The test results are then compared by computer to signature models of good connections and leaking connections. The test is quick and accurate.

The very costly pulling of tubing strings can be prevented by using Bilco’s Dual PST tool. PST is patented and is the only test system available for testing primary seal failure.
