Assembly Make-up Derrick

Bilco’s Assembly Make-up and Testing Facility offers the customer the opportunity to handle, make-up, and test their downhole production equipment with the expertise and care that is required.

All materials are received and inspected by Bilco’s Assembly Make-up Supervisor. Make-up and testing criteria such as torques, inside and outside diameters, recommended testing pressures, etc..., are verified. The connections are cleaned, inspected, doped and drifted according to manufacturer’s and customer’s specifications.

After the materials are assembled, they are internally pressure tested to the desired PSI with H₂O or gas, according to the customer’s recommendations.

The assemblies are then drifted one final time, thread protectors are installed, then the assemblies are ready for shipping.

Derrick is 62' high with 65' assembly capability. Hole Depth is 80'. Hole inside diameter of 10 ¹/₈". 400 sq.ft. inside of Derrick legs. With a 9 ⁵/₈" backup system, diameter range of 1.900" to 9.625".
